  1. After an examination of dummy's hand, my hand,
  2. and the bidding, I have concluded that my partner led
  3. a singleton.

  5. If possible I take the trick and return the suit to
  6. partner for a ruff.

  8. If I cannot take the trick, I give suit preference as
  9. follows:

  11. After eliminating trumps and the current suit, I show
  12. preference for the higher ranking suit remaining by
  13. playing a relatively high card, and preference for
  14. the lower ranking suit by playing my bottom card.
  15. I also play my bottom card if I have no preference at
  16. all.
